The Gifted Assessment Process

• Interviews: A licensed and nationally certified school psychologist conducts interviews with the student and their parent(s) to get a better understanding of abilities, strengths, and areas in which they excel. 
• Formal testing: You or your child will be given an intellectual test to identify cognitive abilities. 
• Behavioral observation: Our team closely observes the student for signs of giftedness to provide a more accurate assessment. 
• Additional tests: We may perform additional testing, such as academic achievement testing, to ensure a correct evaluation of giftedness.
